The last time these two met was over 20 years ago in the now demolished Universal Theatre (some say that’s WHY it was demolished) but time heals no wounds and Round 2 is about to begin.
Everyone knows Theatresports™ , created by the master of improvisational theatre Keith Johnstone it’s celebrating its 30th year in Melbourne. MagicSports, created by Tim Ellis, is celebrating its 25th year of existence.
Many of the MagicSports games are based on Theatresports™ games, but with the crucial addition of magic. New tricks are invented on the spot, presentations are changed completely at the whim of the audience, and some magicians are even forced to SING!
