Number 11 – Dynamo’s Shard Levitation (2014)

For the final trick in his TV series, Dynamo filmed himself levitating above the tallest building in Europe. Perhaps he hadn’t planned on the zoom capabilities on the phones of the spectators watching below as many of them went straight to social media having “caught” Dynamo using wires to achieve his levitation stunt.

This was instantly picked up on by the international press.

Dynamo went straight on the defensive saying he filmed it twice.. once with “safety wires”… which was what the public saw.. and assured viewers that all would be revealed when the TV show aired (“so make sure you watch!”)

The spin that Dynamo put on the levitation in the final show was bizarre and outrageous – as it showed him floating without visible wires… then adding them in by computer afterwards…
