2 – PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE!

The three words drilled into ever magician from the moment they pick up a wand. After all, if a plumber makes a mistake – he charges you more, if a doctor makes a mistake – he buries it, but if a magician makes a mistake – he’s a lousy magician…

How does this relate to Mr Trump?

When he goes on TV or radio to do an interview or make a speech, he really needs to think carefully about what he’s going to say. To plan ahead and realise that, if he says it incorrectly, he may sound like our magician above feels.

For example, when he appeared on the March 6, 2006 episode of The View he said – “If Ivanka weren’t my daughter, perhaps, I would be dating her.” Surely, if had thought about how that might sound in advance, he would have rephrased it so it wouldn’t sound like he wanted to have sex with his own daughter…

But then.. maybe Trump is interested in his own daughter. In 2003, while talking to Howard Stern on his radio show, Donald said, “You know who’s one of the great beauties of the world, according to everybody. And I helped create her. Ivanka. My daughter, Ivanka. She’s six feet tall, she’s got the best body.”

And then, in a 2015 Rolling Stone article, he was quoted as saying – “Yeah, [Ivanka’s] really something and what a beauty, that one, If I weren’t happily married, and ya know, her father…“

Trump loves to speak “off the cuff”, but perhaps he could start to do just a little more preparation to avoid saying stupid things that make him appear to be a sex-crazed, misogynistic, dinosaur who treats women as nothing more than objects…. like this:

Mr Trump… PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE!
